We had a lovely stay! The staff was excellent — very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. There were toys and board games for kids in the lobby, which is a great touch for families. Our comfortable room faced a quiet, green side, making it perfect for relaxation. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, with everything we needed. The only small downside was the lack of a fridge in the room, but it wasn’t a big issue for us, and might not be relevant for everyone. A big plus was the large, free parking area. We absolutely adored the sweet cat that lives on the property — such a charming addition! Highly recommended for a peaceful and family-friendly stay.

We like Ibis Hotels, although fairly ordinary and formulaic, there's rarely anything to complain about. We've found them to be the most consistently good of the large chains, and so it was with Ibis Arcachon, but what really surprised us was the high standard of the attached restaurant, which was exceptional by any standard. We really enjoyed eating there, and the quality matched many more expensive restaurants. The food was simple but well prepared from quality ingredients. Breakfasts were also good, and the helpful and friendly staff were a notable asset. A special hello to cuisiniere Marco Petel, who sadly we were unable to meet on this occasion.

We wanted to stay close to Arcachon but not in the city itself, so we could explore the area and visit the Dune of Pilat, Bordeaux, and Le Phare du Cap Ferret. For our needs, the location of this hotel was perfect. We also enjoyed the breakfast. Although it was simple and had the same buffet every day, the quality of the products was very good, and we didn't get tired of it during our three-day stay. Lastly, the hotel has an indoor cat named Cachou, an absolute sweetheart and truly the hotel's master. She brought us many joyous moments and enjoyment.

The hotel was being rewired for new wifi provision while we were there, but apart from a little untidiness in the foyer, that didn't affect anything. The real manager of the place is a black four year old cat called Cachou who rules with an iron paw. Guests are free to stroke him as long as they don't interfere with meal times or naps. This is another Ibis with that welcome addition of air conditioning which is so helpful to a night's sleep in a heatwave. Breakfast plentiful and excellent.

The group of cyclists really enjoyed their stay at the Ibis hotel. It has a more relaxed feel than other Ibis hotels, The hotel had a young "vibe" to it with surfboards etc in the lobby and young staff who were really helpful. We booked a meal in the hotel restaurant which was good value and the breakfast was well worth the money. The hotel staff sorted out a room for all our bikes to be stored over night.
